Payment will be upfront as default. Payment plans can be negotiated between the artist and the commissioner depending on the circumstatnces.

USD only. Payment will be requested through PayPal invoice.

Please let me know if you reside outside the US, as I will need to take conversion rate into account before sending the invoice.

Full refunds when no work has been given to the commissioner.

Half refunds available when in rough sketch, rough color, or line art has been shown to the commissioner.

There are no refunds available once detailed color, clean-up and/or shading has been applied to the commission.

If for some reason I am unable to complete your commission, I will refund you right away.

Rough Draft/ Rough Color: Low-res draft(s) will be provided and you can request both major and minor changes. Typically 3-5 drafts will be made if the idea needs fleshing out.

Clean-up/ Lineart: After this stage on your commission, I will send you a low res image for your approval. You may still request changes to be made before I begin the next step.

Rendering/Polishing At this point the commission will be complete and non-refundable. Minor color shifts/ effects can be made.

Upon completion, I will send a PNG file via Dropbox or OneDrive link to your preferred method of communication (DMs, chat, emails,etc).

I will give you my best estimate on when I can work on your commission.

Turnaround will vary between each piece. Especially if I am working through a queue. (For reference, a general estimation for completing a fully rendered illustration is 4-5 weeks)

Commissions with deadlines will take priority

The client is free to check in on commission progress via messages or email, but the client agrees to not to rush me faster than the agreed deadline.

Asking me to make it sooner than the agreed deadline will incur an additional +50% rush fee

Major revisions can be made during the drafting stages and will not incur fees at this stage

When shown progress of mid-render, major revisions, or changes part way through will incur an extra fee (depending on complexity). Minor changes or oversights by the artist will not.

Requests for changes after I send the completed commission will cost extra depending on the changes’ complexity.

Characters with props and/or complicated aspects in their designs (e.g. detailed armor, mechanical limbs, intricate patterns in clothing, accuracy of wings, etc.) will cost extra.

Unless otherwise agreed upon, the commissioned artwork is for personal use only, and not to be used commercially.

It is prohibited to claim my artwork as your own.

It is prohibited to remove my signature without my consent. For commercial work, I will be checking in with the client about this.

Any and all commissions are prohibited in being used, and or associated, indirectly, or directly in blockchain technology (ie. cryptocurrency, NFTs, etc.)

Any and all commissions and artwork made by ColorBrews are prohibited to be used, associated, indirectly or directly in AI technology

The ways you are allowed to modify the commission are: Cropping your commission to make as a profile picture, using as a banner for a personal blog, using it as reference for more commissions and other instances will require my permission.

Commissions will be posted on my social media unless specifically requested to be private. If you do not provide a name to credit you by, I can list you as anonymous.
